Children are a priority at Berean. We are dedicated to share with you in the cultivation of their spiritual growth. We serve children with Christ-centered and strategic ministries.

AWANA
Every Wednesday during the school year, from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m., children meet for AWANA, a fun and Christ-centered ministry that assists children in preschool through 5th grade grow in Christ. This is an excellent ministry for children to bring along their friends.

AWANA is an international nondenominational ministry that reaches children with the Gospel of Jesus. More than 12,000 churches in over 110 countries participate in AWANA programs throughout the week. Click here to see the AWANA web site.

Backyard Bible Clubs
This year instead of a Vacation Bible School, Berean will oversee Backyard Bible Clubs for grades 1-5 as a way to bring the gospel to children in our community. Children will come each day for the week to the designated home location to participate in games, be taught a Bible lesson, challenged to memorize Bible verses, make crafts, and have snacks – kind of a mini-VBS but in someone’s backyard. One of the main reasons for doing Backyard Bible Clubs is to give our youth the opportunity to be the leaders in this outreach and share the love of Christ with the children. There will be adults at each club too, facilitating and supporting the youth. We are putting together teams of youth that will be responsible for presenting the Bible story, games, and crafts. If your youth is interested in helping with any of these clubs, our next training session will be on Sunday, June 13, following the morning service.
