Service Opportunities

There are many ways to and serve at Berean. To get involved, simply contact our Church office and we will help get you connected.

Berean Kids Ministry

Wednesdays, during the school year for Pre-K through 5th-grade students.

If you are a parent or someone that is interested in reaching kids with the message of the gospel, join us as an Berean Kids volunteer! Please contact us if you would like to volunteer in this vital, fun ministry that disciples young kids to walk with Christ.

Chair Team

Chair volunteers reset the chairs in the sanctuary for our Sunday morning services. Commitment is an average of once per month. Contact the office if you’re interested.

Children’s Church

Adult teachers and helpers are needed to serve on a rotating basis in Children’s Church during the Worship Service hour on Sundays. Teachers must be BCC members, complete a Service Application and Background Authorization Form. Youth helpers must be at least in middle school. Training and materials are provided.

Greeting

Greeters needed! No experience necessary, just a friendly smile and the willingness to help people feel welcome on Sunday mornings. We would love to be able to have a few more greeters each Sunday to interact with visitors and newer people in the church. Contact Joel Kuhlmann

Helping Hands

Helping Hands Ministry of Berean exists primarily to help meet the meal needs of families experiencing a stressful time in life due to childbirth, surgery, death in the family or other life-altering situations. A Helping Hands volunteer is asked to serve about once every 3-4 months on average. If interested in serving in this capacity, contact the Helping Hands Leadership

Hospitality

Would you like to help out with our Sunday morning fellowship time? We could use cookie bakers as well as people to help set up and/or clean up. Commitment is an average of once per month. Contact the Hospitality Ministry Leader if you would like to serve here.

Nursery

Provide a safe and loving environment for children age 2 and under while parents enjoy a time of teaching, fellowship and worship.

For safety and accountability, two volunteers (middle school-aged and up) will serve together and at least one of them must be an adult. All adults (18 and older) must have a background check on file with the BCC office.  Desired commitment to any of the below areas is once per month.
